Sweet Spots :: Long Beach Creamery

It’s been open now for a few weeks but it wasn’t until this past Father’s Day Sunday that I got my first lick of Long Beach Creamery. With my kid passed out just having finished the fifth and final dance recital performance of the weekend, and my husband passed out from drinking too much wine while we were away for the fifth and final dance recital performance of the weekend (he went to show number one on Friday), I was left to venture out on my own.

I walked it, as my neighborhood’s new scoopery is just a half mile away. After being cooped up in the Carpenter Center all week (we were there for rehearsals too), applying fake eyelashes, slanging trophies during intermission to newer dance moms and grandparents, and stabbing my kid (accidentally on purpose) in the head with dozens of hairpins over the weekend, wine just wasn’t enough. My sweet tooth needed some action, and my restless legs were intent on helping out. So I walked.

The place is full of life – the kind of energy that shakes you like caffeine. And even more invigorating is the mural on the wall listing the many folks who contributed to the shop’s Kickstarter campaign, the effort responsible for getting the Creamery a storefront.A have a lot if people to thank, as my portion was delightful.

No surprise that I went relatively simple with my selection – a scoop of whiskey vanilla with toasted almonds in a waffle cone bowl. “Do you mind waiting a couple minutes for the waffle cone bowl?” my scooper asked. Umm, so I can watch my very own cone bowl being pressed expressly for me? No way would I mind! And so glad I did, as the cone tipped the scale on my experience from awesomely fabulous to fabulously awesome (there is a difference – and the latter is better). These are real flavors, folks – not just hints at them. I easily found both the whiskey tones and the perky taste of vanilla bean in a single bite. And my toasted almonds truly took the experience to another level with their smoky crunch.

You’re likely more adventurous in your ice cream outings than I, so would appreciate some of their other flavors. The night I went, they offered banana chip and camemberry, and midnight oolong, and something called Elvis (a gluten-free option I didn’t bother asking about). There’s a choice for everybody if you go with a group, and the opportunity to split your single scoop into two minis if you want variety while rationing calories. And they’re open ’til 9:00 on the weekends, so it’s a definite late night stroll kind of place. Perhaps by the end of the summer, I’ll be brave enough to try camemberry if they still have it. I’ll probably just Google camemberry as a start. If it’s scary enough, I may not even ask for a sample until winter. Then again, in a waffle cone bowl and topped with toasted almonds, I’m sure just about everything at Long Beach Creamery is pretty darn fabulously awesome.

  1. I look after a vape store directory and we have had a posting from a vape shop in the United States that likewise offers CBD items. A Month later, PayPal has written to use to claim that our account has been restricted and have requested us to remove PayPal as a payment solution from our vape shop submission site. We do not offer for sale CBD products like CBD oil. We solely offer marketing professional services to CBD firms. I have checked out Holland & Barrett– the UK’s Reputable Wellness Retail store and if you take a good peek, you will witness that they offer a somewhat considerable variety of CBD product lines, specifically CBD oil and they also happen to take PayPal as a payment method. It seems that PayPal is employing double standards to many different companies. As a result of this constraint, I can no longer accept PayPal on my CBD-related online site. This has restrained my payment possibilities and now, I am seriously contingent on Cryptocurrency payments and direct bank transfers. I have consulted with a lawyer from a Magic Circle law office in London and they explained that what PayPal is doing is entirely illegal and inequitable as it ought to be applying a consistent benchmark to all firms. I am still to speak to a different lawyer from a US law practice in London to see what PayPal’s legal position is in the United States. In the meantime, I would be very appreciative if anybody here at targetdomain could offer me with different payment processors/merchants that deal with CBD firms.

  2. Does anyone know whether I can buy Just Delta 8 Gummies (justdeltastore.com) at Double D’s Vapor & Tobacco World, 23050 Sandal Foot Plaza Dr, Boca Raton, FL, 33428?
